Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel, manufactured by Bayer, imitates honeydew, a popular food source for carpenter ants. It begins to work within 3 to 5 days and has a considerable amount of moisture, making the bait irresistible.
Foraging ants take the bait back to feed the queen and larvae, causing the entire colony to be eliminated in hard-to-reach areas quickly.
Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel is a powerful product that effectively eradicates carpenters and various other species of ants.
Tools Needed
This product can be applied with the syringe-like applicator that it comes in, or it can be applied with a bait gun to treat hard-to-reach areas.
How to Use
- Step 1: Locate the most significant spots where ants and or ant trails are seen.
- Step 2: Shake the syringe-like applicator vigorously, remove the cap, and depress the plunger.
- Step 3: Apply small pea-size dots in areas where the ants are found and near their trails without destroying their natural behavior. Apply gel (up to 1 gram) per spot.
- Step 4: The bait will remain effective for the next 2 weeks; reapply if necessary.
Where to Use
Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel can be used indoors and applied to cracks and crevices near ant trails and activity. It can also be applied around window seals, door frames, plumbing voids, cabinets, flooring, under-sink cabinets, garages, and attics. It can also be used outdoors around window seals, door frames, wood decks, woodpiles, fences, planter boxes, and weep holes around the structure. Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel is excellent for residential, commercial, and industrial areas.
Do not place Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel on surface areas that are constantly cleaned, such as countertops.
When to Use
This product can be used whenever any labeled ants or activities have been noticed.
