Pro Blow Handheld Pesticide Duster
Pro Blow Handheld Pesticide Duster
The Pro Blow Handheld Duster, manufactured by JT Eaton, is an effective pesticide duster that makes it convenient to apply insecticidal dust around and inside the home, commercial building, and other tight areas against pests like carpenter ants.
This easy to use duster features an internal spring system that not only decreases hand fatigue when applying the pesticide dust, but it also allows the duster to be used upside down, sideways, or upright. Simply squeeze the duster in any position in those hard to reach crevices and cracks in the wall and the dust will be dispensed.
The Pro Blow Handheld Duster is created with galvanized steel parts to ensure long-lasting durability. It comes with a ball bearing to break up and prevent the dust from clumping as well as a cleaning rod to unclog the applicator tip when necessary. This long-lasting duster can hold insecticide dust such as 1.2 oz. of Diatomaceous Earth or 5 oz. of Boric Acid.
Tools Needed
There are no tools needed to operate the Pro Blow Handheld Pesticide Duster.
All you need is a pesticide dust of your choice to add to the duster. However, you will need to wear the proper personal protective equipment when using the pesticide product of your choice. Particularly, you will want to wear a dust mask or respirator when applying dusts or any pesticides that are formulated as fine particles.
How to Use
- Step 1: Remove the rubber cap from the duster. The rubber cap comes with a beveled edge that should allow for a secure close and an easy retrieval of the cap.
- Step 2: Fill the duster about halfway or no more than 2/3 with your preferred dust into the duster. It’s important to not overfill the duster for best results, as the duster needs room to correctly mix the dust with air for the correct application. If too much dust is inserted into the duster clogging and blockage may occur.
- Step 3: Before applying into trouble spots, firmly reinsert the cap into the duster, and ensuring the cap is closed, turn the handheld duster upside down and shake the duster to properly mix the dust and air inside the duster to get the dust floating inside.
- Step 4: Once target spots have been identified (cracks, crevices, service ducts, baseboards, holes, electrical outlets, crawl spaces, under appliances, under and between furniture, etc.) and the duster has been shaken; gently squeeze the duster to allow for even and distributed thin layers of dust.
- Step 5: You should see very small residual clouds of dust form outside of trouble spots when applied correctly. Make sure not to leave a visible residue of dust, which will mean that you have over-applied the product.
Where to Use
The Pro Blow Handheld Pesticide Duster is useful for crack and crevice, wall voids and spot treatments in the home such as under appliances, carpets and baseboards, around plumbing and more.
When to Use
Use the Pro Blow Handheld Pesticide Duster when you want a more professional quality application of insecticide dust when conducting treatment around the home.

Keith's Pro Tips | "You can actually regulate how much dust is applied by which way the duster is turned. If you use with the duster cap facing upwards, it will provide the highest volume of dust. Holding sideways applies a medium amount. Applying with the cap facing down will put out the lowest amount. We usually recommend using the duster downwards so that little amounts are applied and you don't over-apply." |

Q:How many ounces of dust will this duster hold if filled half way ?4/18/18A:Have no idea, yet it looks to me like a 4oz jar like duster, may 2 oz is your answer. I just add a sufficient amount and go from there, its easy to add more when needed, it feels like a professional device and it probably is.

Q:can I use this produce Diatomaceous to directly spray into the electrical outlets?3/1/18A:It's a somewhat dry product so maybe however I would not! If I had pests in my electrical outlets/walls I would probably call a professional. The product worked very well for me outside on yellow jacket nests. Good luck.
