FiPro Foaming Aerosol
FiPro Foaming Aerosol
FiPro Foaming Aerosol, manufactured by Solutions Pest & Lawn, is a Fipronil-based professional foam spray product that is approved for indoor and outdoor crack and crevice treatment. This foaming insecticide releases the active ingredient fipronil 0.005% in a foam formulation so when FiPro Foaming Aerosol is applied to insect galleries, it quickly expands, generating a dry foam that kills wood-destroying insects like termites or carpenter ants.
This fipronil aerosol product can also be used to treat cracks, crevices, and voids to target other insect pests, such as some ants and beetles. It is non-repellent and leaves behind a residual, meaning pests will not detect the insecticide and come into contact with the spray.
FiPro Foaming Aerosol spreads through a transfer effect, so the affected insect will return to the nest and unknowingly spread it throughout the colony. FiPro Aerosol is 100% guaranteed and ready-to-use to kill termites and insects where they are found or suspected.
Tools Needed
FiPro Foaming Aerosol comes ready to use and required no additional tools. This product includes the aerosol can itself and an application straw.
How to Use
- Step 1: Shake the Fipro Foaming Aerosol can thoroughly, remove the finger cover cap and insert the injector straw into the nozzle tip.
- Step 2: Aim the straw into voids, cracks, or crevices where insect activity has been detected, such as windows, door frames, and around the plumbing. In some instances when treating wood-destroying insects, you will need to drill a hole into the surface to access the insect gallery.
- Step 3: Spray the Fipro Foaming Aerosol into the affected area. You should be spraying between 4 and 8 second intervals, waiting for at least 8 seconds in between to allow the product to expand and disperse into the treatment area. Wipe any excess foam away as soon as possible and allow the area to dry. You should expect to see results within 1 week.
Where to Use
FiPro Foaming Aerosol can be used in and outside of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Apply this product to control pests in homes, apartments, greenhouses, hotels, motels, office buildings, warehouses, the non-food/feed handling areas of food or feed handling establishments like restaurants, the non-patient areas of hospitals and nursing homes, and in transportation vehicles like trucks and trains.
Do not apply this product into any electrical equipment (i.e. radios, television, computers, etc.), or where an electrical short circuit might result, such as in wall outlets, conduits, motors, switches, etc.
When to Use
FiPro Foaming Aerosol can used as soon as you notice pest activity. Apply it as a localized treatment for the control of existing infestations of subterranean termites and other wood-destroying insects, or as a supplemental treatment for structural protection. For preventative control, we recommend you apply FiPro Foaming Aerosol every 30 days for continued control.
Safety Information
FiPro Foaming Aerosol is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling or applying this product.
Do not allow children and pets into treatment areas until the product has dried.
Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Exposure to temperatures above 130 degrees Fahrenheit may cause bursting.
Special Considerations
FiPro Foaming Aerosol is not a substitute for mechanical alteration, soil treatment, or foundation treatment. It is recommended to use Fipro Foaming Aerosol alongside RedEye Termite Monitoring Stations to treat the stations when termites are detected.
This product is undetectable by pests when dry, and it will leave a controlling residual effect that will last for up to 30 days, making this product especially good for treating ants. Affected pests will have their nervous system impacted, but will die slowly, typically in a few hours. Pests that walk through treated areas unknowingly pick up the poison and transfer it to the rest of the colony, systemically eliminating the infestation.
FiPro Foaming Aerosol can be used as a preventative or curative interior structural void treatment for subterranean termites when applied in conjunction with an exterior perimeter/localized interior (EP/LI) termiticide labeled for EP/LI application.

Q:how can I calculate how much to get to treat a termite situation? do I need square or linear footage? how far can one can go? thanks!3/12/21A:You cannot, because termites do not plan their towns on rectangular grids :) And unless you are treating something simple like a porch post (which you would probably just replace instead of treat), you are going to find surprises during the course of your job, and you will learn and gain experience with your particular situation. Order a can, get to work, and if you find you need more, re-order. I am still on my first can after treating maybe 200 cubic inches of infested wood.

Q:-FiPro - Does it Dry Clear and go flat after drying or does is it colored and remain thick in appearance? - Will it damage or lighten painted surfaces or wood? - Any odor after drying? Novacide Flea & Tick Killer - Will it damage or lighten painted surfaces or wood? - Does it dry clear? - Any odor after drying? Thank you2/7/21A:As I recall, although I am not 100% sure, the FiPro dries clear and pretty much disappears. If anything, it may darken the wood a little, not lighten. Definitely no odor after drying.

Q:Since this is not for sale in CA, what can I use that is similar? I have heard a clicking sound in exterior walls and suspect a Deathwatch Beetle infestation. I have tried Carpenter Ant bait because we have those too, but the clicking sound continues.10/12/20A:I don't know about a deathwatch beetle but this is what professionals use for carpenter ants and termites so I would guess that it can kill your beetle. You have to drill 1/8 inch holes in your walls to spray it in. It really works well.

Q:FIPRO FOAMING AEROSOL IS A NON-REPELLENT. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?9/9/20A:Non-repellent means that the product is not detectable to pests. They will crawl over it and not be harmed right away and will not suspect that a poison has been laid out to kill them. This allows them to return to their nest and spread the insecticide to others.

Q:How long does it take Fipronil Foaming Aerosol to kill Ants?9/9/20A:It can take a few hours for the product to kill ants, which allows for affected ants to spread the active ingredient to others in the colony and massively kill the population.

Q:How long does Fipro Foaming Aerosol last after it has been applied?9/9/20A:In the 2 holes, the foam was there for 4 days. I would assume that the foam broke down and was absorbed by the wood or evaporated. I can say that no other bees have entered.
