Vision Blue Marking Dye
Vision Blue Marking Dye
Vision Blue Marking Dye is a spray colorant that is mixed in with turf and lawn treatment products to help indicate where the products have been applied. All areas treated with Vision Blue temporarily turn blue. It is non-toxic and safe to use around wildlife.
Vision Blue Marking Dye is manufactured by Solutions Pest & Lawn and is a temporary colorant that shows exactly where turf and lawn care product applications have been made. The highly visible color helps prevent wasteful skips and overlaps and helps point out and minimize drift.
Simply add Vision Blue Marking Dye to spray tanks filled with any premixed insecticide, herbicide, fungicide or fertilizer. The blue color will indicate which areas have been treated or missed.
Using Vision Blue Marking Dye will help protect plants from being accidentally sprayed with herbicides and will save money by helping to conserve product. It is safe for residential or commercial use and is a great product when treating large places with easy to miss areas.
Tools Needed
To use Vision Blue Marking Dye, you will need to mix the product with a selected pesticide in a spraying tank. You may also need a measuring cup or spoon to measure the appropriate amount of dye you need.
How to Use
- Step 1: Mix the appropriate amount of Vision Blue Marking Dye in a sprayer tank that is already filled with pre-mixed, insecticide, herbicide, fungicide, or fertilizer. The label recommends 32 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of spray solution.
- Step 2: Mix your pesticide product in your tank following the product's recommended mix procedue. Then add your measured amount of Vision Blue Dye. Shake or agitate the sprayer tank to mix well.
- Step 3: Spray areas with the Vision Blue dye and pesticide mixture, preferably under fan spray settings for even clear coverage.
Where to Use
Vision Blue Marking Dye can be used anywhere outdoors. It is a great product to use on large turf areas and helps applicators keep track of fertilizers and insecticides so that they are applied evenly, and helps to prevent situations where desired plants are accidentally sprayed with herbicides with over-spray or drift.
When to Use
Vision Blue Marking Dye can be used outdoors any time a turf or lawn is being treated with an insecticide, herbicide, fungicide, or fertilizer. It is especially useful to keep track of where treatments have occurred to prevent over-spraying and product waste.

Q:Will Vision Blue dye stain my sprayer tank?12/8/20A:Best answer is yes, but full the tank with water after cleaning it and add a little bleach to the water and let it sit for about 30 minutes, this should remove and residual dye. Remember to thoroughly rinse tank prior to doing this. I personally use bleach to wash my hands after spraying if I get dye on my skin but this is not recommended for those who have sensitive skin.
