Tempo SC Ultra
Tempo SC Ultra
Tempo SC Ultra, manufactured by Bayer, is a professional insecticide that delivers a quick kill to flying and crawling pests such as ticks and continues to repel them for up to 3 months after application.
This unique suspended concentrate formulation, provides the killing power of a pesticide powder but in liquid form. In this liquid formulation, Tempo SC Ultra makes for a convenient use with less mess and less application efforts. Less agitation is required to keep this effective formulation in suspension than other standard products on the market today.
Tempo SC Ultra features a low-odor, non-staining formula that can be applied with various low-application rates against indoor and outdoor pests in an area as large as 30,000 sq. ft.
Tools Needed
To use Tempo SC Ultra, you will need to mix the product in a handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Tempo SC Ultra to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acre). A general surface spot, mist, or crack and crevice application will use 0.025% - 8 ml (0.27 fl oz) per gallon of water or for severe infestations use 0.05% - 16 ml (0.54 fl oz) per gallon of water. For outdoor perimeter applications, apply 0.05% - 16 ml (0.54 fl oz) per 10 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For listed pests in turf, apply 8 ml of product per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions for certain pests.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the amount of water, add in the appropriate amount of Tempo SC Ultra, then fill the rest of the way with water. Close the sprayer lid and shake well and you are ready to apply.
- Step 3: Apply the Tempo SC Ultra mixture as a spot, crack, crevice, and perimeter spray wherever the target insect has been discovered and where they have been found to nest, forage or harbor. Spray 3 feet up and 3 feet out to perform a perimeter treatment. Re-apply Tempo SC Ultra every 7 to 10 days if needed to treat your pest problem. Do not water or mow for at least 24 hours following application.
Where to Use
Tempo SC Ultra can be used both indoors and outdoors such as home lawns, business complexes, apartment buildings, airports, cemeteries, parks, playgrounds, recreational fields, institutional grounds, athletic fields, and other landscape turf grass.
Outdoors, this product can be applied on trees, shrubs, foliage plants and flowers in outdoor landscaped areas and interior plantscapes where these plants are grown.
Not for use in greenhouses or nurseries. This product cannot be applied to food crops.
