Premise 2
Premise 2
Premise 2, manufactured by Bayer, is a powerful termiticide made with imidacloprid that is non-repellent, making it undetectable by termites to ensure termites do not try to avoid treated areas.
It is an affordable product that provides an excellent defense against termites that cause thousands of dollars in damage if left untreated. Premise 2 is excellent for trenching, soil drenching, foaming, and for treating wood to kill termites deep in the ground, around foundations, in crawl spaces and other tight spaces.
Premise 2 alleviates the worry unlike other termiticide products that are designed to simply repel or keep termites away from the treated soil area without killing them. When termites or other listed insects are trying to take over the home and yard, use Premise 2 to eliminate them fast.
Tools Needed
Depending on how Premise 2 will be applied will determine which tools are needed. For trenching a wheel barrow and shovel or appropriate garden tool for moving soil is needed. If Premise 2 will be sprayed, a hand held pump sprayer is needed. If rodding is the way Premise 2 will be applied, a rod-like tool such a rebar is needed. For sub-slab injections a masonry drill bit or auger is needed along with the sub-slab injector tool
How to Use
- Step 1: Read the product label before applying.
- Step 2: Shake the Premise 2 bottle well before using.
- Step 3: Prepare the desired mixture in a sprayer or suitable container before trenching and before adding any foaming agents.
- Step 4: Spray and treat the targeted areas and only re-apply to areas where a known re-infestation has occurred or within 5 years, depending on the type of structure and soil.
Where to Use
Premise 2 can be used around the perimeter of residential or other building structures susceptible to termites and other wood damaging insects. It can be applied under outdoor or indoor concrete slabs, and basement floors, in crawl spaces, wall voids and in cracks and crevices of wood structures. This product should not be sprayed on blooming plants where honey bees area located, or near public water supplies.
When to Use
Premise 2 can be used as a preventative treatment plan or it can be used to kill targeted insects when activity is noticed.
Safety Information
Premise 2 is safe to use around humans and pets when applied according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying or handling this product.
Do not allow residents or pets into the immediate area during the application or contact with treated areas until spray has dried.
Special Considerations
When using Premise 2 around outer foundation walls of a structure, it must be applied by trenching by digging up along the foundation 6 inches wide and 6 inches deep. Apply 4 gallons of solution per 10 linear feet, per foot depth to provide an even vertical treated area.
Do not use this product against native or imported fire ants, pharaoh, or harvester ants.

Q:CAN THIS BE USED TO ERRADICATE FLEAS?9/16/18A:It is effective against fleas. However, I would advise that if you want to eliminate a flea problem it would require more than one single product. Flea control requires both indoor and outdoor control measures as well as eliminating fleas off of pets. It also requires addressing flea eggs and larvae which is the majority of a flea infestation. I would suggest looking into our flea control kit which has all the essential tools for total control. Learn more and browse the products here: https://www.solutionsstores.com/flea-control

Q:Can Premise 2 be used as spot treatment on a parquet floor that was treated by Timbor? Thanks,Joseph10/31/17A:Is the floor still unfinished? Exterior Perimeter/Interior Spot Treatment is an optional method of termite treatment only for use in postconstruction applications, after the final grade is established. Structural protection when using the Exterior Perimeter/Interior Spot Treatment is accom- plished by: 1) establishing a continuous treated zone around the entire exterior foundation wall of the building; and 2) spot-treating infested areas on the building interior. Soil adjacent to the exterior foundation wall must be treated in the same manner as conventional (full) application. It is required that a complete and continuous treated zone be achieved around the entire exterior perimeter, including under any attached slabs such as garages, porches, patios, driveways and pavement adjoining the foundation. Interior spot treatments must then be made to any indoor areas where termite activity is present. Optional interior spot treatments may also be made to high risk areas including, but not limited to, plumbing and utility penetrations (including bath traps), along settlement cracks and expansion joints, and dirt-filled porches.
