Permethrin SFR 36.8%
Permethrin SFR 36.8%
Permethrin SFR 36.8% is an effective insecticide concentrate that immediately eliminates a broad range of insects both indoors and outdoors. This product creates a strong insecticidal barrier for about 90 days indoors and 30 day outdoors.
Permethrin SFR 36.8%, manufactured by Control Solutions Inc. is a broad-spectrum insecticide designed to provide a quick knockdown and residual barrier for about 90 days indoors and 30 day outdoors to control over 75 different type of insects.
This permethrin 36.8% based insecticide falls under the category pyrethroid insecticide, meaning it has a synthetic chemical that safely imitates the actions of a natural chrysanthemum flower, but with longer residual effects.
Permethrin SFR 36.8% is a diverse, economical, and efficient insecticide that will ensure bugs like mosquitoes, flies, spiders, and others are destroyed. With one simple application, this product will eliminate invasive insects like bed bugs indoors ensuring complete pest control.
Tools Needed
To apply Permethrin SFR 36.8% a hand pump sprayer, back pack sprayer, skid sprayer or ULV fogger is needed. For small surface and cracks and crevice treatments it is suggested to use the hand pump sprayer or backpack sprayer.
For treating flying insects such as mosquitoes or flies, using a Permethrin SFR with a ULV fogger is ideal. Professional pest controllers will have access to skid sprayers for treating larger areas.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Permethrin SFR 36.8% to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the treatment areas length and width in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acre). The typical rate of Permethrin SFR for treating in and around the home and yard is a 0.5% emulsion of concentrate which is 1 and 2/3 fl. oz. of Permethrin SFR to 1 gallon of water to cover 1,000 sq. ft. For example, if you measured your treatment area and calculated 2,000 sq. ft., you will need to mix 3.33 fl. oz. of Permethrin SFR in 2 gallons of water.
- Step 2: Pour 1/3 of the amount of water into the spray tank and then measure out the amount of Permethrin SFR 36.8% required according to the product label. Add the rest of the water into the spray tank, then mix or agitate.
- Step 3: Apply the Permethrin SFR 36.8% solution to the desired areas in a fine/coarse low-pressure nozzle setting and wait for the treated areas to dry before entering.
Where to Use
Permethrin SFR 36.8% is great for indoor and outdoor use. It can be applied around the perimeter of building structures, cracks and crevices around doorways, windows, weep holes and wall voids. Permethrin SFR can be used on ornamentals grown in interiorscapes, for perimeter insect control on lawns, ornamental trees and shrubs around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields, treatment of pre-construction lumber and logs (by PCOs only), and for use on buildings and structures.
When to Use
Use Permethrin SFR 36.8% when treating for an insect infestation in or around your home. Permethrin SFR is also a great product to use as a preventative perimeter treatment in keeping pests out of homes and building structures as it leaves an effective residual barrier.

Q:Should I use this with Pivot 10 and Permethrin SRF for indoor/outdoor treatment of fleas? Also, what is frequency of application?12/21/23A:Since Permethrin SFR 36.8% and Stryker Pyrethrin Insecticide are adulticides you would want to pick one of these to mix with Pivot 10 IGR to control fleas. Since it not clearly stated on the label how much igr to mix with it we recommend first treating with either of the adulticides you select then making a follow-up application with Pivot 10. Depending on where you want to treat its best to refer to page 5 on the Pivot 10 label, 41, 43 & 49 on Permethrin SFR label, and 16, 17, & 20 on Stryker Pyrethrin Insecticide to control fleas.
