Invade Hot Spot Plus, manufactured by Rockwell Labs Ltd., is a bio sanitization foam formulated with fast-acting enzymes and premium microbes to eat away at scum and other organic-buildup as well as eliminate foul odors in indoor drains and other areas where moisture collects.

For a faster breakdown and clean-up of smelly, organic buildup this ready to use aerosol product uses a powerful formulation of natural citrus oil. Once applied the thick foam clings to labeled surfaces providing maximum contact for stain, debris, and odor elimination within 20 minutes.

As a versatile product, Invade Hot Spot Plus can be applied with a 360 degree valve to crack and crevice straw to clean areas in between appliances where food particles hide. This green zone product is ideal to use in sensitive areas and will not damage septic systems or municipal water treatment operations when used per the label instructions.

Tools Needed

Invade Hot Spot Plus comes ready to use with its included full cone spray actuator, applicator straw (for drain, crack and crevice injections).

How to Use

  • Step 1: Shake the Invade Hot Spot Plus well before use. Press down on the actuator to dispense the foam. Invade Hot Spot Plus may be dispensed with the can in any orientation. To coat scummy surfaces, hold the can about 12” away from the surface and apply foam in a sweeping motion. To inject into drains, cracks or crevices, carefully insert the included straw into the actuator.
  • Step 2: To treat carpet, simply spray the product over the stain and completely cover it with foam, but do not wipe the foam off. If applying to an existing stain, first moisten the area to be cleaned with water. Multiple applications of Invade Hot Spot Plus may be necessary for very dark or old stains. Do not scrub or wash after application. This product works well on soda, juice, milk, wine, beer, food residue, oil, urine, vomit, and most other organic matter.
  • Step 3: Invade Hot Spot Plus can be used to eliminate household odors to drains, garbage disposals, litter boxes, and trash cans. Inject directly into drains and garbage disposals. For trash cans, simply spray Hot Spot+ to lightly coat the surface and allow it to dissipate. For litter boxes, coat the base of the box then add the normal amount of litter directly on top.
  • Step 4: Do not wipe up or wash off the Invade Hot Spot Plus. The foam should be allowed to dissipate and should remain in contact with the organic debris for at least two hours to be most effective.

Where to Use

Invade Hot Spot Plus can be applied to drains and anywhere where moisture and food waste may collect. Apply this product in cracks, crevices, drains and other areas with organic debris, including beverage fountain drip trays, on beverage line bundles, along and behind peeling away baseboards, under ice machines and in voids around dishwashers, walk-in coolers and tray conveyors.

Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid breathing spray mist.

Invade Hot Spot Plus can be used to clean and deodorize a variety of stains on carpet like soda, juice, milk, wine, beer, food residue, oil, urine, vomit, and most other organic matter.

This product may also control a variety of household odors from smelly drains, garbage disposals, litter boxes, trash cans, and other dirty or smelly surfaces except food contact surfaces.

When to Use

Invade Hot Spot Plus can be used any time dirt, grease, grime, and food matter is on various surfaces that need to be cleaned. It is ideal to use when crack and crevice areas in kitchens need to be cleaned or when sink drains have a foul odor.

Avoid using when there is little to no ventilation in the room.

Invade Hot Spot Plus is best applied immediately after a spill while the stain is still wet.

Safety Information

Invade Hot Spot Plus is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment when applying or handling this product.

If the product contacts a direct food contact surface, rinse thoroughly before resuming food contact. Use bleach to kill spores if needed.

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Wait until treated areas are completely dry before allowing children and pets to enter treatment areas.

Special Considerations

Some stains may require more than one application. Always allow the foam to dissolve before wiping up the dirt and scum.

Always test Invade Hot Spot Plus on a small area of any fabrics first to be sure it will not stain.

The Nuclear Option for Drain Flies!
Since moving into this house, we've fought drain flies for at least a year-and-a-half. Countless Internet hours to identify and investigate drain flies, an airborne plague never seen before during six decades in other homes. Finally found these aerial gremlins actually live and breed inside drains.

Weapons of war?

Swatters, rolled magazines, hand smashes, indoor bug zapper, tubs of boiling water, gallon of horticultural vinegar with boxes of baking soda, special-purpose drain brush, bleach, and gel drain cleaner. Flies still flying!

Started by cleaning all seven bed and bathroom drains with other products. This reduced invaders, but didn't stop them. Then found some congregated in the laundry room and added the washing machine drain to the battle theater.

Some of these drains had straight pipes much longer than the 22" drain brush. Took the bathroom sink drains apart (PCV unscrewed and later reinstalled by hand), gave 'em a good inside scrubbing. Got a good look at the viscous black goo that DFs love. This proved that the brush couldn't remove 100% of goo within its reach, and didn’t affect out-of-its-reach goo.

After reassembling newly cleaned sink drains, assaulted the master bath shower drain and washing machine drain. Gel cleaner reduced fly numbers, but didn't land a knockout punch. Never sure that gel coated 100% of drain interior surfaces.

HOT SPOT TO THE RESCUE! This wonder produce covers 100% of drain interiors. The next few days will prove whether or not we've vanquished the scourge!

(May you and yours stay safe and healthy as COVID-19 continues to rampage.)

The foam does not seem to work as well as the gel. It is easy to get into the drains with the little straw attached but it did not seem to coat the sides as well as the gel formula. I used it after the gel so I am not sure how effective it is on its own. The gel really helped get rid of ALOT of the sewer flies so I just did foam as a follow up a few days later.

Great Product
I had originally ordered MicrobeMax Volumetric Drain Foam but it is no longer stocked so I received the Hot Spot. This product worked just as labeled. It did what I needed it to. I will definitely order again.

Peace of mind in a can
Last summer I experienced an infestation of gnats inside my apartment. Nothing I used could take care of the problem. That all changed once I discovered your Invade Hot Shot Bio Foam. I applied this product into every drain in my apartment, including the bathroom tub and sink drains, every night for one week. The gnats completely disappeared! AAAHH-mazing product!! I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with getting rid of a gnat infestation.

Control Flies and odors
Invade products have helped with fly control on many of my accounts.Recently a restaurant that I stop at monthly on a regular road trip which has a very bad odor in the mens restroom final let me show them the results of InVade BioFoam. I treated the drain in the mens restroom twice both going and coming back from my trip. The owner of the place had many companies over the years and was doubtful that I could solve the problem. This problem has existed for many years as I have used this restroom for that period. The owner recently called and told me that is much better is looking forward to my next trip.

Problem seams to be gone...
I purchased Hot Spot because I had issues with sewer flies. I am not able to open the the drain cover to clean out any scum so liked the idea of being able to direct the foam spray inbetween the grates to the sides of the drain I used the Hot Spot Foam and because of the flat foam nozel I was able to spray the foam in the drain without making a mess. I have treated the drain 2x in the last few weeks and have not seen any sewer flies. The foam coats the sides very nicely and I like the fact that I can actually breathe while applying the product and that I'm not breathing in any harsh fumes.

Questions and Answers
  1. Q:How long do I have to wait after using a pesticide in the drain to kill Phorid flies can I use Hot Spot to clean out debris in the drain?
    12/22/23
A:You would have to refer to your pesticide label to see if other pesticides can be used with it and how long the residual effect lasts. Invade Hot Spot Plus should be allowed to dissipate and should remain in contact with the organic debris for at least two hours to be most effective.
