First Strike Rat/Mouse Bait, manufactured by Lipha Tech, is a unique soft rodenticide that does not contain wax like other rodenticide baits and can withstand warm and cooler weather conditions without melting.

This durable rodenticide bait is formulated with Difethialone 0.0025%, a fast-acting second-generation anticoagulant eliminating rats and mice within 4 to 5 days. The soft bait is wrapped in a permeable package that allows the scent to escape, leading the rodents right to it. These soft boded packages may also be used on vertical or horizontal rods inside tamper-proof bait stations to ensure safety against foraging wildlife.

FirstStrike Rat/Mouse Soft Bait can be used in different types of bait stations and is ideal for areas where removing secondary food sources is difficult to do. This single-feed soft bait is ideal for the most challenging rodent infestation from house mice to Norway rats whether indoors or outdoors.

Tools Needed

To apply FirstStrike Soft Rat/Mouse Bait, tamper-proof bait stations are required when applying to outdoor areas where children, pets, or other wildlife have access to the bait. A SoftSecure Technology rodenticide placement device can be used to specifically hold soft bait in tamper-proof bait stations.

How to Use

Baiting for Rodents with FirstStrike

  • Step 1: Determine the areas where the target rats and/or mice has been active and will most likely find and consume the bait (along walls, gnawed openings, corners, concealed places, etc). Proceed to remove as many competing food sources as possible with a thorough cleanup.
  • Step 2: Place baited stations around the perimeter of the structure and around areas where activity has been seen. For mice, apply 1 pouch per placement 8 to 12 feet apart. For heavier mouse infestations, use up to 4 pouches per bait station placement. For rats, apply 9 to 43 pouches per placement placed 15 to 30 feet apart.
  • Step 3: Monitor stations closely and maintain a constant supply of fresh bait for 10 to 15 days or until signs of rodent activity cease. Using waterproof gloves, immediately collect and dispose of any dead rodents you find.

Where to Use

FirstStrike Rat/Mouse Soft Bait can be used indoors and outdoors within 100 feet of man-made structures where targeted rats and mice activity has been seen. The bait can be used in residential, commercial and industrial areas for rodent control. The bait must be placed within tamper proof bait stations where children, pets, and other non-target animals cannot access it. FirstStrike Bait can be used in homes and other permanent or temporary residences, food processing facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, trash receptacles, agricultural and public buildings, transport vehicles (ships, trains, aircraft), docks and port or terminal buildings, and related structures.

For outdoor use, FirstStrike Rat/Mouse Soft Bait must be used in tamper-proof bait stations. Bait stations can be placed around the perimeter of building structures, like houses, garages, warehouses, restaurants, barns, and more. Bait stations can also be placed along fence lines.

FirstStrike Bait cannot be placed in areas that are over 100 feet away from any building structure.

When to Use

FirstStrike Rat/Mouse Soft Bait can be used at any time rat or mouse activity is suspected or confirmed. It can also be used in areas where continuous control is required, such as restaurants, barnyards, and manufacturing plants.

This stuff just works
We live outside of Phoenix on 10 acres and have more than our share of critters, mostly pack rats. First strike is the way to go. As long as you keep the bait stations baited for a couple of weeks the problem is gone.
