Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap
Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap
The Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap, manufactured by Solutions Pest & Lawn, is a humane catch and release mouse trap product that provides safe, clean trapping, and can hold up to 30 live mice at a time.
The trap can be used with non-lethal baits or it can be used with a glue board. The mouse trap has a clear lid option, so that it does not have to be opened to check it.
The Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap is easily transported to release the mice in another location without having to touch them, making it the ideal trap for sanitary, safe, and simple trapping. When killing mice is not an option or if using poisoned bait is too risky, the Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap is the ideal product to use.
Tools Needed
To properly use the Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap, you will need to use a high protein bait like peanut butter to attract the mice, and we recommend to wear gloves to prevent leaving any human scent on the trap.
How to Use
- Step 1: Open the lid to the Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap and place bait inside of the trap with some type of utensil to prevent leaving human scent. We recommend peanut butter or some type of bird seed.
- Step 2: Close the trap lid and set it lengthwise against the wall, close to where you have seen mouse activity.
- Step 3: Check the Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap once a day, preferably in the early morning, to release any captured mice. When you have caught some mice, release them as soon as possible. We recommended you travel at least 3 to 5 miles away from your home before releasing any mice to discourage them from returning.
- Step 4: Re-bait the trap and set it out again until mouse activity has stopped.
Where to Use
The Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap can be used to catch mice indoors or outdoors. It is ideal for use in homes with pets and children, in corrals, and in other areas where lethal trapping or baiting is not an option.
Be sure to set the Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap in areas where you have seen mouse activity. To determine the best locations to set traps, look for grease marks along walls, fur, rodent droppings, gnaw marks, and rodent burrows.
When to Use
The Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap can be used whenever mice activity is suspected or confirmed, or it can be used as a method to prevent an infestation from occurring.
If you have mice in captivity that have escaped, this trap can also be used since it will not harm captured mice.
Safety Information
The Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap is safe to use around pets, children, and livestock when used according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling pesticides, this product, or pest control products.
If the Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap is baited with lethal rodenticide or glue boards, keep it away from pets and and children, as it is not tamper-proof.
Special Considerations
The Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap is not a tamper proof bait station. It must be placed in an area where it cannot be accessed by pets, children, or other animals if it is baited with rodenticide.
Dimensions are length 10 1/2", width 6 1/2", and height 2" inches.
The Multi-Catch Humane Mouse Trap can be used to supplement a non-lethal mouse control plan, or it can also be used to monitor mouse activity before an infestation breaks out.

The gist of this is that there are two entrances. Each has a ramp that is on a slight spring. The wight of the mouse give just enough so that the mice can see a way in and push through. Then the ramp closes behind them. From there if they try to return the same way, they are directed under the ramp. My problem is that over time the ramp is losing it's spring, which creates a slight gap that the mouse can use to work it's way back out. So that's been disappointing. It seems to happen to one side first and I've been trying to align the traps so that the broken side is blocked. But they're definitely quickly losing effectiveness. So that's been disappointing.
Caught two mice first night and one the second night in an outdoor shed.
I was so impressed I bought another trap.I used the $5.00 coupon on the box and paid only $5.99 with shipping.
It's freezing cold here in NH, so it should work even better when it warms up.

Q:Mine don't work. The mice eat the treats around it but I don't think they are able to get in. The entrance flap is hard to push down. Is that supposed to be that way? I bought two and neither work. I used a cheap Chinese trap that worked but I would prefer to buy USA. Help!!3/22/20A:Mine did not work either. I bought two, I ended catching the mice with a couple cheap spring type traps.

Q:How do you clean it?10/5/19A:The top lifts open. That's how you put bait in and release the mouse. I've caught two so far and I really like this trap. Pretty easy to clean.Enter

Q:Will this work for voles??10/3/19A:No, the holes are too small. Voles can get pretty large. There are other humane traps larger you might want to try. Good luck!

Q:I used the humane traps before and they worked great. Now the mouse or mice are avoiding them. I actually saw one go up to the trap look in, go to the other side look in and scamper off. I am putting them in the same places and loading them with peanut butter. Why are they not going in?8/23/19A:Try rinsing out the trap. Sometimes the previous catch leaves a bad scent.

Q:can this catch rats?9/22/18A:No, these traps will not catch rats only intended for mice.

Q:What is the difference between black and black clear?7/14/18A:Black means that the top is made of black metal, and black clear means that the top has a clear plastic window in it. I recommend buying the one with the window, so it is easy to see if a mouse is in the trap and can be released soon after capturing it.

Q:If I buy the one with a clear plastic lid, isn't is possible + likely for the mouse to chew through it and escape? How likely is that to happen?6/30/18A:Linda, We purchased the same trap, with the clear plastic lid, a few months ago and have caught 15-20 mice in it. Not a single one has chewed through the lid since they are unable to get up to it. The trap has worked very well for us.

Q:What is the square footage suggested per trap? I want to put them in my attic and I'm wondering how many I'd need.5/21/18A:As many or as few as you want...hide them under clothing etc...so only the hole is exposed. In an attic with a lot of mice I would put in at least 5 and check them every 2 days. Dead mice in a trap will almost render a trap useless even after cleaning

Q:Will the Victor Tin Cat mouse trap catch rats ?5/5/18A:No, the mechanism is definitely too small for any rat bigger than a large mouse to fit through.
