Good productUsed earlier this season on test areas of established Bermuda grass. Very effective. I plan on using it again but it may be too late this season to get the same results (as per label instructions).

What surfactant??The directions say to incorporate a surfactant, but don't recommend an appropriate product, so I have been unable to use the Fusilade.

Watch it die!I have been searching and trying several products for eradicating envassive Bermuda grass in my Zoysia lawn for 5 years. Nothing worked from warehouses or nurseries. This product is killeing off the Bermuda with only a very slight yellowing of the Zoysia. And the pricing is a bargain. Scratch up the Bermuda to get it above the sirrounding sod, use a mist sprayer, and retreat about 3 times over 10 days. Watch it die.

Fusilade II Herbicide Gets GrassesI have been using Fusilade II for years. PRODUCT IS GREAT. It works well on grasses, affecting some component found only in grasses. Can spray grasses growing amongst desired plants without damaging desired plants. BUT WILL AFFECT ORNAMENTAL GRASSES. Must wait for 30 days, or 4 weeks, or ... Grass leaves absorb the chemical, but it takes time for the chem to circulate to roots. Circulation via gravity - no pump! - KNOW HOW PLANTS WORK & WILL HAVE PLANTS YOU WANT. ;-)

Worked on Johnson grass - 1-2 weeks to see results.Bought this for killing johnson grass in fields where I wanted to keep damage to other grasses to a minimum. Spot treated only with handheld sprayer at .75 oz per gallon of Fusilade II; and about an ounce per gallon of 80/20 surfactant. Temps around 80 degrees F at time of application. The johnson grass was up to 2 feet tall and I took reasonable precautions not to overspray it unnecessarily. It took about 1 to 2 weeks, but it's turned yellow and dying back at this point and it looks like the fescue and bluegrass was minimally impacted, if at all. So, two thumbs up. Importantly, I pulled any seed heads starting to form on the johnson grass, as it can spread aggressively by seed as well as rhizome.
