AquaPro
AquaPro
AquaPro, manufactured by sepro technologies, is a non-selective aquatic glyphosate which will control any vegetation on which it is sprayed. Glyphosate is foliage absorbed and translocated throughout the plant and root system, killing the entire plant.
This easy to apply liquid product contains no water restrictions and may be used in accordance with the product label to treat various water sites. AquaPro is a systemic herbicide that works well to treat water and shorelines weeds such as alligatorweed within an appropriate time frame.
Tools Needed
To apply AquaPro, you will need to use either a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, boom or boomless ground application systems, pull-type sprayer, floaters, pick-up sprayers, spray coupes and other ground broadcast equipment, recirculating sprayers, shielded and hooded sprayers, wiper applicators, sponge bars, knapsack sprayer, handguns, hand wands, mistblowers, lances, other hand-held and motorized spray equipment used to direct the spray onto weed foliage, aerial or ground injection sprayers, high volume off-center nozzles, OC nozzle clusters, and manifold nozzle systems.
For spot treatments, we recommend using a handheld pump sprayer. This product does the require the use of a non-ionic surfactant.
This product is not registered in Arizona or California for use in mistblowers.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much AquaPro to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment site. To find this, measure the length and width of the treatment site in feet and multiply together (length X width = square footage). Depending on the treatment site and tool used you will range between a spray concentration of 0.5% (2/3 oz. of product per gallon) up to 10% spray concentration (13 oz. of product per gallon). Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: In your selected sprayer, mix half the required amount of water, add the appropriate amount of AquaPro and surfactant, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the sprayer lid and shake to ensure even agitation.
- Step 3:Spray only the top of aquatic weeds in approved water sites and avoid direct application to water. Spray the top and bottom of shoreline weed leaves that are not submereged in water.
Where to Use
Use AquaPro in natural and production (plantations), forests for site preparation, mid-rotation release treatments, timber stand improvement activities, noncrop sites including industrial sites, rights-of-way (including roadsides, electric utility and communication transmission lines, pipelines, railroads, airports), irrigation and drainage ditches, canals, reservoirs, natural areas (including wildlife management areas, wildlife openings, wildlife habitats and refuges, parks and recreational areas, campgrounds, trailheads and trails), rangeland, and in and around aquatic sites and wetlands; also for perennial grass release, and grass growth suppression and grazed areas on these sites.
You may use on pastures containing bahiagrass, bermudagrass, bluegrass, brome, fescue, orchardgrass, ryegrass, timothy, wheatgrass, alfalfa, and clover.
This product may be applied to emerged weeds in all bodies of fresh and brackish water that may be flowing, nonflowing or transient including lakes, rivers, streams, ponds, estuaries, rice levees, seeps, irrigation and drainage ditches, canals, reservoirs, wastewater treatment facilities, wildlife habitat restoration and management areas and similar sites.
When to Use
AquaPro may be used when weeds are first witnessed in approved sites. Spray on warm sunny days when no rainfall or cloudy weather is forecasted 24 hours after application.
