Nuvan Prostrips, manufactured by AMVAC, is a ready-to-use vapona insecticide strip that is infused with the active ingredient dichlorvos 18.6%, which eliminates targeted pests by damaging their nervous system.

This fumigation strip features a unique controlled release design that helps to continously control pests, such as bed bugs or clothes moths, with minimial odor and mess.

Nuvan Prostrips is a clean and odorless pest control vapor strip that can easily be placed or hanged to control biting, stinging, and other flying pests within enclosed spaces. Insects that bite, crawl, or carry diseases can be eliminated for up to 4 months.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how many Nuvan Prostrips to use by measuring the cubic feet of the treatment area. Do this by measuring the length, width, and height of the treatment area then multiplying these numbers together (length x width x height = cubic feet). One 16-gram strip will treat between 100 to 200 cubic feet.
• Step 2: While wearing gloves, open the foil package and peel the strip from its packaging. Open the plastic encasement, place the Prostrip inside, then snap the plastic encasement shut.
• Step 3: Hang or place the strip in the designated area where targeted pests are gathering and out of the reach of children or pets.
• Step 4: Replace the Pro Strips every 4 months for maximum control.

Where to Use

Nuvan Pro Strips can be used in garages, sheds, attics, crawl spaces, pantries, cupboards, closets, museums, museum collections, animal buildings, barns, storage units, trash bins, grain bins, pest traps, utility boxes, vacation homes, cabins, out-houses, mobile homes, recreational vehicles, boats, farm houses, and ranch houses. Also use strips to control pests around non-perishable packaged, bagged or bulk raw and processed agricultural commodities (including corn, soybeans, grains, cocoa beans, and peanuts).

Within homes, use only in closets, wardrobes and cupboards. Also for use in storage units, garages, attics, crawl spaces, boathouses, museum collections, garbage cans, trash dumpsters, animal buildings, milk rooms, catch basins, bulk raw grain, storage bins, enclosed utility boxes, reptile houses and terrariums.

This product may not be used in kitchens (except cupboards), restaurants or areas where food is prepared or served. Do not use this product in any area of the home where people will be present for extended periods of time.

When to Use

These can be used any time targeted pests, such as flies, mosquitoes, gnats, and others are in enclosed areas.

Drafts, weather and other conditions may affect the performance, but treatment usually lasts for four (4) months.
