Top Gun Bromethlin Rodenticide Blocks JT Eaton

Free Shipping on All Orders

The JT Eaton Top Gun rat and mouse bait block is a fast acting bait that can be used indoors and outdoors. Containing bromethalin, Top Gun is specially formulated with natural foods that are preferred by rats and mice. One great aspect of this product is that it is a stop feed, which means rodents will consume one lethal dose, then cease to feed afterwards with the first dead rodent showing up in just one or two days.

Target Pests

Top Gun Bromethalin rodenticide is used to kill rats and mice.

For Use In

Top Gun Bait Blocks can be used indoors or outdoors.

It is recommended to use the bait in a tamper proof bait station, to prevent pets or small children from coming into contact with the bait. Determine the areas where the rodents are frequenting or the areas where the rats or mice are most likely to find the bait. These areas include: along walls, by gnawed openings, in or beside burrows, in corners or concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where rodents or their sign have been seen. Remove as many alternative food sources as possible to help direct the rodents to feed on the bait.

IMPORTANT: Do not expose children, pets, or other nontarget animals to rodenticides. To help to prevent accidents: 1. Store product not in use in a location out of reach of children and pets. 2. Apply bait in locations out of reach of children, pets, domestic animals and nontarget wildlife, or in tamper-resistant bait stations. These stations must be resistant to destruction by dogs and by children under six years of age, and must be used in a manner that prevents such children from reaching into bait compartments and obtaining bait. If bait can be shaken from stations when they are lifted, units must be secured or otherwise immobilized. Even stronger bait stations are needed in areas open to hoofed livestock, raccoons, bears, other potentially destructive animals, or in areas prone to vandalism. 3. Dispose of product container and unused, spoiled, and unconsumed bait as specified on this label.

USE RESTRICTIONS: This product may be used to control Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice in sewers and for use inside and against outside walls of homes, industrial and agricultural buildings and similar man-made structures. This product may also be used in alleys located in urban areas, inside transport vehicles (ships, trains, aircraft), and inside and against outside walls of related port or terminal buildings. For use in non-food/non-feed areas. Do not contaminate human or pet food preparations items or areas. Do not place near or inside ventilation duct openings. Do not broadcast bait. Do not place bait in areas where there is a possibility of contaminating food or surfaces that come in direct contact with food.

SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS: Determine areas where rodents will most likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these are along walls, by gnawed openings, in or beside burrows, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where rodents or their signs have been seen. Remove as much alternative food accessible to rodents as possible.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS: The active ingredient in this product is different from anticoagulant rodenticides. Individual rodents cease feeding after consuming a toxic dose. Rats: Apply 2 to 12 baits per placement. Space placements at intervals of 20 to 30 feet. Mice: Apply 1 or 2 baits per placement. Space placements at intervals of 8 to 12 feet.

FOLLOW-UP: Adjust the amount of bait applied to the level of rodent feeding expected at each bait placement location. Highest bait consumption is expected to occur on the first day or two after treatment. After several days, inspect bait placements and replenish bait at sites where there is heavy feeding or where there is continued evidence of rodent activity. Maintain bait for at least one week and continue baiting until all signs of rodent activity have ceased or it becomes clear that the remaining rodents are not attracted to the bait. Collect and properly dispose of all dead rodents and leftover bait. To discourage reinfestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage as much as possible. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.

Coverage Area

One bucket of Top Gun Bait Blocks is enough for 10- 64 bait placements for rats, and 64-128 bait placements for mice.

Time to Kill

This product will kill rats and mice within 12 hours of consumption.

how much bromethalin is in each square?? very important - my dog ate one
michele w on Nov 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You will need to call the poison control number on the pail, depends on the size of the dog. You can induce vomiting immediately with peroxide poured down their throat, and Vitamin K from the vet would be the antidote.
