Termidor Foam
Termidor Foam
Termidor Foam is manufactured by BASF a powerful insecticide that is effective at controlling insects like termites, ants, and crawling insects. Termidor can be applied in wall voids, cracks, and as a spot treatment to create a powerful barrier that not only kills with contact, but will spread to other insects with contact. Termidor is easy to apply, and the foam will penetrate deep into cracks and voids to ensure even coverage.
Tools Needed:
Termidor Foam comes ready-to-use with no mixing required, and comes with its own application nozzle. Be sure to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) before applying. You can optionally use this product along with the Whitmire Micro-Gen actuator.
How To Use:
- Step 1: Identify what areas you wish to treat. Looks for signs of pest activity, and cracks and voids where they may be hiding.
- Step 2: Spray the foam into the cracks and voids. Make sure to hold the nozzle in place for about 8 seconds after spraying to allow the foam to expand into the area. 1 oz. of product dispensed in approximately 5 seconds can product about 1 quart of foam.
- Step 3: Retreat the areas as necessary. Refer to the label for proper application rates, as they can differ depending on location and the target pest.
Where to Apply:
Termidor Foam can be applied in Apartments, homes, Food handling areas, Restaurants, Hospitals, and Nursing Homes, hotels, motels, hobby greenhouses, Interiorscapes, Office Buildings, schools, Transporation Equipment, Warehouse and other commercial and industrial buildings. Use Termidor in cracks and crevices, in wall voids, in holes in sheetrock that might lead to termite galleries and many more.
When to Apply:
Apply Termidor at the first signs of pest activity. The sooner you begin treatment, the less damage the termites or wood destroying pests can cause.
Safety Information:
Termidor Foam is safe to use when applied according to label directions. Always wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) whenever you are applying this product. Keep all pets and people away from treated areas until the product has completely dried.
Special Considerations:
This product is not a repellent. This means that it will not stop the insects from coming into the area, but it causes the insects to spread the chemical further through contact. Termites are difficult to get rid of, so it can be helpful to use a fipronil foam like Termidor alongside other products like a liquid concentrate, and termite baiting stations.
