4 The Birds Liquid Repellent
-
Worked for MeShipping was efficient. Used 4 the Birds product to deter woodpeckers attacking the trunks of my loquat trees. They had pecked rows of holes through the bark layer. Dabbed product in the holes and painted the trunks in vertical stripes, leaving some bark area uncovered to allow the tree to breath. It has been 3 or 4 weeks since application. No additional holes visible and no woodpeckers seen. The trees are healthy and still bearing fruit, so apparent ill effects from the application.
Suggest you use gloves to and safety glasses when using. solution. Use a disposable brush to apply it.
A little (~one cup) went a long way in my case. I gave an average value rating because the gallon was the only size offered. I would have preferred to buy a pint or quart form my job. Even so the price of a gallon is still better than losing three fruit bearing trees.Posted on

The repellent works good. Its a little messy and does not last long before you have to apply again. I was applying it on the roof peaks so it was hard to do with out making it messy.

Bird shield does it work?I purchased this product to try it out on pigeons. I first removed all nesting materials from the roof, then I pressure washed the entire roof. Let it dry for 48 hours. I applied four treatments of the product. one treatment per week. It did not seem to bother the pigeons in the least. A very expensive product that did not work for me at all. I do not recommend at all.
