Solutions Easy Set Mouse Trap
-
Does what it shouldThe traps arrived and we set them that night. All of the traps were very easy to set and all resulted in a trapped mouse by the next morning. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that after this initial use the traps are very hard to get to set again. The plastic "hanger" that holds the bar seems to have become dislodged after being sprung. It takes a few tries to get them to set again whereas the first time they set upon the first pullback of the bar.

I would not purchase or recommend this product. These did not work for me. Put out with bait "unset" to acclimate mice to the trap for a few days. Then I baited them and set the traps.
Found them clean out but trap never released. It seems that the trigger is not light enough and they are able to eat the peanut butter and not set off the trap. Very disappointed with these traps.
Because of this, I would not recommend these to anyone unless I was able to catch some mice with them.Posted on

Mouse trapsEasy to operate and reuse traps. Only once has a mouse gotten the peanut butter and gotten away.

Cheap and effective.Despite what the comments may say on the video, we thought we'd give it a try anyway just because it's cheap and instant (if caught).
We bought and used 5 traps with peanut butter as the bait, we set them immediately rather than trying to "build trust" with the mouse, cause we ain't got time for that. We placed them along the walls near areas where we saw the mouse activity. Within less than ~24 hrs, two of the traps worked and we washed/sanitized them and left in our garage to dry. About ~14 hrs later, one of the three remaining traps also worked, but we did notice that the trap moved about 2-3 inches to the left from its original position, so there may have been a bit of a struggle with this one. Interestingly enough it was in the most claustrophobic place for a mouse.
We only ever seen one mouse a time and intended to get one mouse, ended up getting three.
It was easy to set, and it was my first time using a mouse trap, although I think it's more of a common sense thing at first sight of how it needs to be adjusted. It was effective for sure as the mouse didn't get away. It's safe to use, just don't carelessly put your finger on the pressure plate when it's set or during setup...sort of common sense. For only $2.15 each, it's an amazing value, we had to buy a minimum of 5, and that's fine especially when you do need to place multiple traps anyway to increase the chance of capture, it even had free shipping.Posted on

Success!Worked great. Be sure to bait it for a few nights but do not set it. Rodents get comfortable raiding it. Then put bait way down in the bait cup so they have to apply pressure to get the goodies and set it. Sun chips harvest blend works for us.

Great product.Simple to set and release. Large paddle trigger makes the trap nearly foolproof.

Works! The traps I received were not printed with the Kness Logos so I have to assume they are not the originals but they work just as well
