Q:How can I tell if the float switch is the issue on my MistAway Misting System?9/7/17A:Replaces rigid multi-level float switch. Will not annunciate tank level but will shut unit off when tank empties. If you are getting an ERR2 error

Q:How do I know if I have to replace the float switch?5/24/17A:We will first need to confirm the current position of the float switch. MTCE menu, FLT. dn-down indicates the float is down UP indicated float is in up position. After a mist session, we want to make sure FLT indicates UP. Remove the controller so that you can physically manipulate the float. With your hand move the float position from down to up and confirm the correct position is displayed on the screen. If it is not indicating the correct position on the screen the float has failed. Check the wiring harness to ensure it is connected properly and repeat the test. If it still not showing the correct position the float has failed and you will need to replace the float switch.
