WILL YOU NEED INDUSTRIAL MOSQUITO FOGGERS?

Bug Lady posted this on Oct 4, 2016

Mosquitoes are a common pest and are found in various parts of the world. They have four life cycles: egg, larva, pupa, adult. The female lay the eggs in stagnate water where they become a larva and then pupa. These first three stages can happen between 5-14 days. From the pupa develops an adult mosquito. Within a few days, the adults are mating and the process begins all over again. Female mosquitoes feed on the blood of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish with a piercing mouth part. After a feeding, she rests while her eggs are developing. Then, she lays them and continues to looking for her meal. In nature, female mosquitoes do not live much longer than a couple of weeks. Mosquitos have a variety of ways of finding prey. They use chemical, visual, and heat sensors. During the feeding, some mosquitoes can pass on exceedingly harmful infections. Some of these include malaria, yellow fever, and filariasis.

There are several types of product that you can use for your family and property to repel or eliminate mosquitoes. Often overlooked are the agricultural industries; cattle yards, areas of business, and the local government areas. These areas need to be able to control the pests for health reasons and for hostile working conditions. Industrial Mosquito Foggers are able to cover large areas of infestation quickly and smoothly.

INDUSTRIAL MOSQUITO FOGGERS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS

Depending on the size of your area, there are different ways to apply the fog.

  • Truck fogging – This is one of the most common methods of controlling mosquitoes. A fogging machine is attached to a truck and allows the applications to cover a large area in a quick amount of time. The fog is applied in the early hours of the morning or in the late evening when the mosquitoes are most active. Large area truck fogging is also effective in parks near water, sewers, grain stores, animal and poultry buildings, and tropical crops.
  • Backpack fogging – This method is used for hard to reach areas that a truck can’t access or for smaller coverage. The backpack fogger is best for areas that mosquitos are inclined to linger; areas like fishing holes, small parks and campgrounds, constructions sites and work zones could easily be accessed with a backpack fogger.

Thermal Fogging is a device that uses heat to produce the fog without affecting the active ingredient. The fogger produces droplets that are able to reach spaces that have obstructions. The large number of droplets cause the fog to be clearly visible. This way you can observe the fog and check to make sure it covers the appropriate areas.

ULTRA-LOW-VOLUME COLD FOG OR ULV SPRAYS THE FOG BY USING A HIGH VOLUME OF AIR AT LOW PRESSURE.

With a more defined size of drops, the fog isn’t able to cover as much area with barriers but is a more concentrated formula.
