Solving the Mystery of the Phantom Insecticide

Bug Lady posted this on Oct 8, 2016

There are many ways to get rid of pests, including insecticides, deterrents, traps, growth regulators, sprays, gels, etc. What you use depends on many different factors, including what pest you want to eliminate, the area in which they are congregating, and how you want to go about getting rid of them. Solutions has many different products for a variety of issues, but one of our best products is the phantom insecticide.

What is phantom insecticide?

The name alone makes people want to use phantom insecticide. It is tasteless, odorless and unavoidable by pests. Pests are not only affected by ingestion but also by contact with it. Once the pests come into contact with it, it starts to prevent their cells from generating energy which causes paralysis, followed by death. Phantom insecticide is a slow moving poison which means that the pests continue on as they normally would, slowly infecting the rest of their colony or nest. Because there are no signs that the pests have been contaminated, there is nothing to warn the others of the presence of insecticide.

How to use phantom insecticide

Phantom insecticide is mainly used on cockroaches and ants, but is also highly effective on bed bugs, crickets, beetles, flies, scorpions, centipedes, wasps, and more. Phantom comes in liquid form but is very different from other sprays. It sprays in targeted shots, saving you product in order to cover a larger area. It can be used inside or on outside entry points and can be reapplied every 28 days. It is also safe to be used in hospitals, restaurants, hotels, pet shops and supermarkets, to name a few.

Phantom is very unique because it is the only non-repellant, non-IGR (insect growth regulator) liquid that can be used in conjunction with baits and IGRs without affecting any GPC products you may be using.
