Ask A Pro: Problems with Alexandergrass

Camille Landry posted this on Jun 22, 2017

Customer:

To whom it may concern,

I have attached a few photos of a weed that I cannot identify nor control with the normal OTC weed products.  I have tried 2,4-D and Quinclorac neither of which touches it.  The only success has been using Round-up but it also destroys my bermudagrass.

HELP please!!!

Thank you very much,

Mark

Our Response:

This is Alexandergrass. It is in the crabgrass family. You will need to use a pre and post emerg.
