Image Herbicide Consumer Concentrate is an easy to use product for control of nutsedge in your yard. It also provides post-emergent control of tough weeds in established turfgrasses for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Target Pests

Image Herbicide is used for the control of tough weeds in established turfgrass such as field sandbur crabgrass bahiagrass ryegrass tall fescue purple nutsedge yellow nutsedge annual sedge green kyllinga rice flatsedge globe sedge annual bluegrass dandelion dollarweed white clover wild garlic wild onion henbit chickweed cudweed black medic buttercup geranium red sorrel and other listed grasses and weeds.

For Use In

Image Herbicide is for use in established grasses such as Bermudagrass St. Augustine Centipedegrass Zoysiagrass and selected landscape ornamentals.

Application

For control of tough weeds in residential lawns Image Herbicide can be applied using a pump-up sprayer or hose-end applicator.

For pump-sprayer application mix at a rate of 2.5 ounces per gallon of water. Spray to wet.

For hose-end sprayer (dial'n spray) application max at a rate of 15 ounces of Image into jar, set metering spray on 4 tsp. and uniformly apply until jar is empty onto a 4,000 square foot area.

Coverage Area

Each 24 ounce bottle of Image Herbicide will treat approximately 6,000 square feet.

Time to Kill

Image Herbicide begins to show signs of the weeds dying in 1-2 weeks but can take up to 5 weeks for complete control. Repeat application can be made 6 weeks after initial treatment if necessary.

can I use it on st augustine grass?

Can this product be applied to freshly cut lawn and be effective?

BEST ANSWER: It is recommended to apply to the lawn in between mowings. The more surface covered the better the products will work. After a mowing, the product will have a much smaller area to cover on the weeds.
Will it kill nut grass?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, Image is labeled for use to control summer weeds such as sedges. We would recommend that you follow the specific label application rates for your lawn.
Is it safe around animals/dogs?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, Image Herbicide is fine to use if you have animals and dogs, just allow it to completely dry before you allow them back into the area.
Can I use this in a flower garden with geraniums , petunias, and marigolds?

BEST ANSWER: I would avoid using the Image Herbicide around those particular plants. The product can be used around Juniper, Mondo grass and other ornamentals listed on the product label.
Will this product kill sandspurs in my centipede lawn?

This does not include Kentucky Blue Grass, what are you trying to control?
