The Genus Fli Fly Light, manufactured by Brandenburg, is a versatile light trap that can be mounted on walls, corners or can be free-standing.

This insect light trap powers two 15 watt bulbs and features integral reflectors that enhance UV output to enhance the efficiency of catching flies.

The sleek design also makes it so it can be put in general public areas without being an eyesore. When flies, gnats, and other flying insects are problematic in areas where insecticide is not an option, the Genus Fli Fly Light is the answer.

Tools Needed

The Genus Fli Fly Light will only require tools (screwdriver) if you want to hang it up on a wall. If you have it free-standing, you won't need tools.

How to Use

  • Step 1: To mount the Genus Fli Light, you will need to secure the mounting template and place that on the wall and make sure it is level. Then you can drill screw holes in the appropriate areas and insert the screws.
  • Step 2: Mount the unit on the wall using the multi fixing points then open the cover and insert the control board and remove the release paper. You can then power it on by plugging the unit into an electrical outlet.
  • Step 3: Change out the bulbs and glue boards when needed as routine maintenance. Check the glue boards daily for the best results.

Where to Use

The Genus Fli Fly Light can be mounted on a wall or it can sit on a table or countertop. It is ideal for use in factories, warehouses, barns, grocery stores above the aisles and other commercial or public areas where flies and various other flying insects are a nuisance.

It should not be placed in areas with competing for light or food sources that will cause targeted insects to avoid the light. It should not be hung in areas where it can get wet or damp.

When to Use

The Genus Fli Fly Light can be used anytime to prevent flies from contaminating food or being a public nuisance. It can be plugged in 24 hours 7 days a week for maximum fly control.

Safety Information

The Genus Fli Fly Light is safe to use around children and pets when installing according to the product label. Fly lights are often a safe alternative to insecticides.

Questions and Answers
  1. Q:Lamp replacement equivalent?
    6/9/22
A:If you are referring to replacement bulbs, then you can use the Genus Fly Light Replacement Bulb. However, if you are asking for another light system in general then Genus Spectra Fly Light can be comparable in its sleek design, but does use 2 36 watt bulbs instead of two 15 watt bulbs. https://www.solutionsstores.com/genus-fly-light-replacement-bulb https://www.solutionsstores.com/genus-spectra-fly-light-fly-trap
