Curtis Dyna-Fog BlackHawk 2620 Fogger
Curtis Dyna-Fog BlackHawk 2620 Fogger
The Curtis Dyna-Fog is a thermal fogging system that can easily be moved to new locations, or even used when mounted in the bed of a truck, featuring an automated spray feature. The Curtis Dyna-Fog can be used in warehouses, greenhouses, and even outdoors over gardens and golf courses.
Tools Needed
The Curtis Dyna-Fog is ready to use, the only things you will need to operate is fuel, chemical, and water. The Dyna-Fog runs on gasoline, 87 Octane or higher. Refer to the manual for proper filling and priming of the motor.
How to Use
- Step 1: Before application, it is important to measure the area you plan to apply to, as this will determine the proper amount of chemical, and what settings the fogger needs to be on.
- Step 2: After measuring the area, measure and mix the required amount of chemical and at it to the fogger. Then add gasoline to the engine, try not to spill any gas on the engine but if you do, wipe away spilled gas and allow the gas time to evaporate before attempting to start the engine.
- Step 3: There are different methods of starting the engine, depending on whether it is the first time or a “dry” start if it has been used recently but has cooled down is a “cool” start, and if it has been used recently but is still heated it is a “hot” start. Refer to the label for proper engine priming and starting methods.
- Step 4: Apply the fog to the desired area. Make sure to always be wearing a mask to ensure prevent yourself from inhaling the fog or product.
- Step 5: Allow the fog to settle and keep all pets and people out of the area until the product has completely dispersed.
Where to Use
The Curtis Dyna-Fog can be used indoors and outdoors, but there are restrictions to both, such as whether or not the fog is a wet fog or a dry fog, what chemical is being used, and what things are in the application site that may be affected by the chemical. It is important not only to observe the user manual of the fogging system but also the label of the chemical in use, as both will have vital information for a safe and effective application.
When to Use
The Dyna-Fog can be used at any time, provided the correct safety procedures have been observed for both the machine and the chemical that's being used.
Safety Information
It is very important to not only read and follow the user manual of the Dyna-Fog but also the label of any chemicals you intend to apply, as there may be different safety measures required for different applications. It is always necessary to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) any time you use this fogging system, especially a respirator to protect yourself from inhaling any chemical.
Special Considerations
As with any other mechanical or electronic, the Curtis Dyna-Fog will be more effective and last longer when proper and regular maintenance is performed. The user manual goes into detail on exactly what maintenance needs to be performed, at what times, and how to perform each task.
