Not impressed August 17, 2014

Bought this because I prefer to release anther than kill.
Used it for the first time last night and when I checked before bed I could tell there were 2 mice in it.  Left it in the garage overnight and when I went to release along the roadside it appeared to have a gap between the containment area and the baffle.  Opened it to discover that one of the mice had got it's head trapped in the baffle and outside the containment area and the remaining mouse had torn it to bits trying to scratch it's way out.  A disgusting mess and a very tortuous and cruel way to die for the first mouse.  I am on my way to return it to TSN.  Was not cheap at $30 plus.

trap review April 3, 2014

These traps work great!  Unlike the ordinary mouse traps, they don’t have to be reset each time they catch a mouse.  I baited mine with a little peanut butter in a spot they can’t get to, just inside the lid.  Also, if you don’t want live mice in the trap, just put some poisoned baits in the holding area of the trap.  I’ve caught a many as 6 mice in one trap without having to muck with it.  These traps are ideal if you have kids, dogs, and cats around, as the mice and bait are kept inside the trap.  They do need to be positioned properly up against a wall.
