Celsius WG Herbicide shows tremendous promise January 13, 2015
Reviewer: Randy H from Titusville, FL United States
One year ago I purchased the foreclosed property next door. The lawn area had a number of weed varieties throughout, and also a few weeds taking over my original property. It seemed an endless fight over the past years. I applied this product on my lawn about two weeks ago. My assessment at this time is very positive. I have used a lot of different products in the past, and some that damaged my grass (flora-tam)leaving some weeds still intact. Celsius has already turned all weed varieties yellow and brown with most showing signs of termination. The grass does not show any stress or damage at this time. I await the time duration that the product directions speak of which is four weeks for full product review. So far I am very satisfied with the results.

It kills Virginia Buttonweed November 17, 2014
Reviewer: Orv from Spring, TX
I couldn't be more pleased.  I lost some of my St Augustine last year, and Virginia Buttonweed moved in and took over.  Barricade pre-emergent did not slow it down.

I ordered Celsius WG because of great work by UGA Extension on Virginia Buttonweed.  Google it.  Celsius WG was the best, and is safe for St. Augustine and above 90F. The downside, it is expensive.

I did one application October 15 at the rate Bayer recommends.  That equated to about 0.9 teaspoons of powder per gallon of water.  Bayer also recommends NIS, and I added that.  Daytime temps were 80 to 85F and nighttime 60ish.  I made sure no rain was coming for a few days.  Within 2 weeks it was obvious Celsius WG was working.  Within 3 to 4 weeks the weed was dead.  My St. Augustine grass looks great!  Even in areas where it was 80 to 90% weed, the grass is just fine and the weed is dead!

If I have voids, it will be due to uneven coverage with my little hand pump tank. We'll see what comes back in the spring

Virginia Button Weed November 4, 2014
Reviewer: Diane Zambardino from Beaumont, TX United States
Sprayed my entire yard about 2 weeks ago, the very next day I saw no more white flowers, and every day since then I see signs of more weeds dying, BUT..... Not my St Augustine grass! This product so far has been the best I've seen for button weed, I have 1/3 of an acre and enough product for 2 more sprayings. However the true test will be next summer when I see no (or less) button weed. It was truly taking over my yard and killing he St. Augustine grass by growing into and on top of it, even at this time of year I see my St Augustine grass coming back strong.
