2, 4-D Amine Gallon is a wide rage selective herbicide controlling for broad leaf weeds in fields and lawns. It is a translocated systematic post-emergent herbicide. You can spray 2, 4-D directly on St. Augustine and other southern grasses and it will only kill the weeds.

Target pests:Alligare 2, 4-D controls and kills: Alder, Aster, Chickweek, Ground Ivy, Hawkweed, Ironweed, Nutgrass, Primrose, Bindweed, Box Elder, Canada Thistle, Bull Thistle, Burdocks, Dandelion, Goldenrod, Honeysuckle, Nettle, Lockweed, Pigweed, Purslane, Ragweed, Clover, Stinkweed, Tumbleweed, Texas Blueweed, Poison Ivy, Poison Oak, Poison Sumac, Bitterweed, Broomweed, Marshelder, Other Broadleaf Weeds
For use in:Alligare 2, 4-D can be used in pastures, range lands, brushy, and woody areas
Application:Mix Alligare 2, 4-D with water in spray rig for large areas or a pump sprayer for smaller areas. The addition of a surfactant and turf marking dye may be necessary for proper application.

Apply Alligare 2, 4-D when most broadleaf weeds are still young and growing. Apply when perennial and biennial weeds are actively growing and near the bud stage but before they flower.

A second application of Alligare 2,4-D is generally needed for control of tougher weeds such as Bindweed and Nettle or Thistle.

Deep rooted perennial weeds may require repeat applications of Alligare 2, 4-D for complete control.

Do not apply Alligare 2,4-D to freshly seeded or laid turf until grass is well established and delay reseeding for 30 days after applying Alligare 2,4-D.
Coverage Area:4oz of Alliare 2, 4-D will treat 1000 square feet.
Each gallon of 2, 4-D will treat up to 3/4 of an acre.
Not for sale to:Alligare 2, 4-D cannot be sold in Texas without a license.
Shelf Life:Alligare 2, 4-D will last 1 to 2 years in storage if kept in moderate temperatures.
